My name is Marcella Lehman and I am a freelance graphic designer from New York. I recently graduated from Queens College within the City University of New York (CUNY) with a BFA in Design. My main interests within the field of design are specifically focused on, but not limited to, branding identity, advertising, printing design and publication design. I put my best foot forward no matter the size or type of project I am working on. I strongly believe that everyone should get the same amount of attention and effort and deliver quality results to all.

Background.

I am originally from New York, New York and continue to reside there. I never expected to enjoy being a design major until I took my first typography class then I fell in love with the creative world. It was so fascinating learning about all the endless possibilities down to the most minute detail of the amounts of typeface one can choose from. I spent many hours “laboring” on my coursework. Time flies when you are having fun and I certainly learned the meaning of the old adage attributed to Confucious, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” After taking my advertising class, I realized that I want to pursue my concentration in branding and advertising. Combining design skills and talent with the business and marketing sector seems like the best of all worlds.

Natural outgrowths of my professional pursuits is my intense interest in photography. I love seeking out new, interesting and beautiful places to photograph. When I am not busy being creative, I enjoy playing tennis and upping my skills in karate.
